Shabbat Shalom Family,

What are we to learn from the Preparation day and what is it?

From Hebrew Roots/Weekly Sabbath/Preparation we learn the following about getting ready to keep the Sabbath;

Preparation For Shabbat

The quality and success of an occasion is often determined by the amount of preparation that goes into it.

In the scripture, the day before the onset of Shabbat is called “Preparation Day” (Mark 15:42; Luke 23:54; John 19:31). To be able to keep the Sabbath properly, adequate preparation is necessary which means planning ahead. Preparation needs to be done on Friday, to avoid working on the Sabbath and have it free from work-related activities.

All provisions and stores of goods to last over until the next time available to purchase them, needs to be undertaken beforehand. As business activities are prohibited, foresight may be needed to care for events or payments due on the day to avoid such transactions that involve handling money.

The concern of our loving Heavenly Father embraced both the male and female in their respective need of rest when He ordained the Sabbath, instructing that not only should there be no ‘work’ but also no lighting of fires which was the means of cooking and heating for the home in those days. He thus encompassed both male and female roles in the household.

The necessary preparation involves preparing special meals in advance, organizing the Sabbath artifacts, cleaning, and most of all, arranging our schedules for prayer and time together. Friends and relatives may need to be advised of your intention to keep the Sabbath to avoid them embarrassment or offense if they expect continuance of previously accepted activities on the day.

The Sabbath keeper should make every effort not to work on the seventh day by being kindly communicative with employers about their wishes and/or looking for an alternative vocation depending on the situation. If a person cannot avoid regular work on Shabbat, they definitely should be praying and seeking for an alternative arrangement of some kind unless one’s occupation is in the vital services of care for the sick and maintenance of law and order.

As a result of many generations of keeping the Sabbath, the Jews set apart the time starting from the evening sacrifice, from 3 pm. on Friday, to “wind down” from the week’s affairs and concerns, and prepare their hearts and minds to embrace Shabbat. This may not be possible to have this time free in our society, but it is of benefit to employ this principle where possible, do whatever is possible ahead of time and finish any last-minute preparations to ensure we are ready to enjoy this special day.

An attitude of heart wherein we “delight in Shabbat” is important so as to inherit the promised spiritual blessings of the day. Isaiah 58:13-14

As part of the spiritual preparation, a cleansing ritual in a bath (mikveh) followed by prayer and reading of the Word has become a tradition in order to draw close to Yehovah for the commencement of the day.

Let us now look at these scriptures which specifically mention the preparation day.

Mar 15:42  And it, becoming evening already, since it was the Preparation, that is, the day before Sabbath,

Luke 23:52  This man went to Pilate and begged the body of Jesus. 53  And he took it down and wrapped it in linen. And he laid it in a tomb that had been cut in the stone, in which no man had before been laid. 54  And that day was the Preparation, and the sabbath drew on.

Joh 19:31  Then the Jews, because it was Preparation, begged Pilate that their legs might be broken, and that they might be taken away, so that the bodies should not remain on the cross on the sabbath. For that sabbath was a high day.

Each of these examples from the Gospels is about the Passover meal which was to be eaten on the 15th day of the first month. Yehshua was killed at the end of the 14th day as the Passover lamb. These 3 verses are only speaking about the preparation day for the 15th day as the High Holy Day.

In the story about the Manna from Yehovah we are told that the day before the weekly 7th day Sabbath they were to prepare for the Sabbath on the 6th day. A double portion was to be sent on the 6th day for them to prepare for the weekly Sabbath.

Exo 16:1  And they took their journey from Elim, and all the congregation of the sons of Israel came into the wilderness of Sin, which is between Elim and Sinai, on the fifteenth day of the second month after their departing out of the land of Egypt. 2  And the whole congregation of the sons of Israel murmured against Moses and Aaron in the wilderness. 3  And the sons of Israel said to them, O that we had died by the hand of Jehovah in the land of Egypt, when we sat by the flesh-pots, when we ate bread to the full! For you have brought us forth into this wilderness to kill this whole assembly with hunger. 4  Then Jehovah said to Moses, Behold, I will rain bread from the heavens for you. And the people shall go out and gather a certain amount every day,

that I may test them, whether they will walk in My Law or not. 5  And on the sixth day it shall happen, they shall prepare what they bring in. And it shall be twice as much as they gather day by day.

6  And Moses and Aaron said to all the sons of Israel, At evening, then you shall know that Jehovah has brought you out from the land of Egypt. 7  And in the morning, then you shall see the glory of Jehovah. For He hears your murmurings against Jehovah. And what are we, that you murmur against us? 8  And Moses said, You will see when Jehovah shall give you flesh to eat in the evening and bread to the full in the morning, when Jehovah hears your murmurings which you murmur against Him. And what are we? Your murmurings are not against us, but against Jehovah. 9  And Moses spoke to Aaron, Say to all the congregation of the sons of Israel, Come near before Jehovah. For He has heard your murmurings. 10  And it happened as Aaron spoke to the whole congregation of the sons of Israel, they turned toward the wilderness. And behold! The glory of Jehovah appeared in the cloud! 11  And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, 12  I have heard the murmurings of the sons of Israel. Speak to them, saying, You shall eat flesh at evening, and in the morning you shall be filled with bread. And you shall know that I am Jehovah your God. 13  And it happened at evening, the quails came up and covered the camp. And in the morning the dew lay all around the host. 14  And when the layer of dew had gone up, behold, there was a small round thing upon the face of the wilderness, small as the hoar-frost upon the ground. 15  And when the sons of Israel saw, they said each one to his brother, What is that? For they did not know what it was. And Moses said to them, This is the bread which Jehovah has given you to eat. 16  This is the thing which Jehovah has commanded: Each man gather of it according to his eating, an omer for a head, according to the number of your souls. Each one shall take for those who are in his camp. 17  And the sons of Israel did so, and gathered, some more, and some less. 18  And when they measured with an omer, he that gathered much had nothing over, and he that gathered little lacked nothing. They gathered each one according to his eating. 19  And Moses said, Let no man leave of it until the morning. 20  But they did not listen to Moses, but some of them left of it until the morning. And it became rotten with maggots, and stank. And Moses was angry with them. 21  And they gathered it every morning, each man according to his eating. And when the sun became hot, it melted. 22  And it happened, on the sixth day they gathered twice as much bread, two omers for one. And all the rulers of the congregation came and told Moses. 23  And he said to them, This is that which Jehovah has said, Tomorrow is the rest of the holy sabbath to Jehovah. Bake what you will bake today, and boil what you will boil. And that which remains over, lay up for you to be kept until the morning. 24  And they laid it up until the morning, as Moses said. And it did not stink, neither was there any worm in it. 25  And Moses said, Eat that today. For today is a sabbath to Jehovah. Today you shall not find it in the field. 26  Six days you shall gather it, but on the seventh day, the sabbath, in it there shall be none. 27  And it happened some of the people went out on the seventh day in order to gather. And they did not find any28  And Jehovah said to Moses, How long do you refuse to keep My commandments and My Laws? 29  See, because Jehovah has given you the sabbath, therefore He gives you the bread of two days on the sixth day. Each one stay in his place. Let not any one go out of his place on the seventh day. 30  So the people rested on the seventh day. 31  And the house of Israel called the name of it Manna. And it was like coriander seed, white. And the taste of it was like wafers with honey. 32  And Moses said, This is the thing which Jehovah has commanded: Fill an omer of it to be kept for your generations, so that you may see the bread with which I have fed you in the wilderness, when I brought you forth from the land of Egypt. 33  And Moses said to Aaron, Take a pot and put an omer full of manna in it, and lay it up before Jehovah, to be kept for your generations. 34  As Jehovah commanded Moses, so Aaron laid it up before the Testimony, to be kept. 35  And the sons of Israel ate manna forty years, until they came to a land in which people lived. They ate manna until they came into the borders of the land of Canaan. 36  And an omer is the tenth part of an ephah.

We are told to go out on the 6th day and gather twice as much as on the other days and that this would not rot. You are to bake, boil and PREPARE what you will eat on the Sabbath day, so that you do not work on the Sabbath.

Tomorrow is the rest of the holy sabbath to Jehovah.

The Sabbath was made for us, not us for the Sabbath. Then what we are in fact preparing beforehand is done in order to enjoy what was made for our betterment.

Mar 2:27  And He said to them, The sabbath came into being for man’s sake, and not man for the sabbath’s sake. 28  Therefore the Son of Man is also Lord of the sabbath.

So do we cook meals on the Sabbath day? Should we be busy doing the dishes on the Sabbath day? Should we be going out to restaurants on the Sabbath Day in order for us to keep the Sabbath and not cook or do dishes? Some people say this is okay to do. Others say it is acceptable to order food on the Sabbath and have it delivered to your place. All of this is done so that you do not break the Sabbath?

Exo 20:7  You shall not take the name of Jehovah your God in vain. For Jehovah will not hold him guiltless that takes His name in vain. 8  Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. 9  Six days you shall labor and do all your work. 10  But the seventh day is the Sabbath of Jehovah your God. You shall not do any work, you, nor your son, nor your daughter, your manservant, nor your maidservant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger within your gates. 11  For in six days Jehovah made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day. Therefore Jehovah blessed the Sabbath day, and sanctified it.

Those of you who claim to belong to Yehovah and bear His name, and then hire others to do your work on the Sabbath are in fact, taking the name of Yehovah and shaming it by hiring others. You do this when you order pizza for oneg. Or when you have women preparing it on Shabbath, or you have meals shipped in on a Holy Day just so that you do not have to cook. So that you can keep the Sabbath holy while you employ someone else to work for you. A servant is anyone working for you and this includes anyone in a store that you are paying them wages or for products they make.

How many women are worn out for making the communal meals each week? How many servants do you have working for you on the Sabbath, making your meals or supplying your gas? How many of you are breaking the Sabbath week in and week out and have no clue? You have taken the name of Yehovah in vain!

Our servants are our brothers and sisters on the Sabbath. They do not serve us nor are they to work for us, not in your business, nor your company nor anything you have control over. They are not to make your meals or food for your guests when you bring them home. It is all to be done ahead of time on the day of preparation, the day before the weekly Sabbath or the 7 annual Holy Days. And if the Holy Day is right beside the weekly Sabbath, like it is in Pentecost, then we are to prepare for two days on the preparation day.

No one is to be working for you. NO ONE.

Having said that, we have this scripture in

Exo 12:15  You shall eat unleavened bread seven days; even the first day you shall put away leaven out of your houses. For whoever eats leavened bread from the first day until the seventh day, that soul shall be cut off from Israel. 16  And on the first day shall be a holy gathering, and in the seventh day there shall be a holy gathering for you. No manner of work shall be done in them, except that which every man must eat, that only may be done by you.

Here is a short note to help you understand this command in relation to cooking on Shabbat.

In the Holy Days chapter, Leviticus 23, all the Holy Days are listed including the
weekly Sabbath.

Let’s look at what this chapter says about working on these days:

Sabbath do no work Leviticus 23:3
Feast of Unleavened Bread first day do no customary work Leviticus 23:7
Feast of Unleavened Br seventh day do no customary work Leviticus 23:8
Feast of Weeks do no customary work Leviticus 23:21
Feast of Trumpets do no customary work Leviticus 23:25
Day of Atonement do no work Leviticus 23:28
Feast of Tabernacles first day do no customary work Leviticus 23:35
Feast of Tabernacles eighth day do no customary work Leviticus 23:36

So we see that there are two days on which no work may be done and six others on which no customary work may be done.

Just what is the difference?
Is there a kind of work that may be done on those six days but not on the other two?

We can find a part of the answer in Exodus chapter twelve where Yehovah is giving directions about keeping two of these same days.  He says the same thing as he later
said in Leviticus 23:7&8 but in slightly different words which make it a little clearer,

“No manner of work shall be done on them; but that which everyone must eat; that only may be prepared by you.”

Exodus 12:16

So that is what is meant by the phrase ‘do no customary work.’ It means that all the normal work must be suspended for those days except the work of preparing the Feast
meal. The one annual Holy Day when Yehovah says, “Do no work” is the Day of Atonement when there is no meal to be eaten because it is a day of total fasting.

For the weekly Sabbath this is just a clarification of the original commandment in Exodus 20:8-11 to do no work on the Sabbath day.

Yehovah made this crystal clear when he was giving manna to the Israelites in the desert.

Exodus 16:5  “And it shall be on the sixth day that they shall prepare what they bring in, and it shall be twice as much as they gather daily.”Exodus 16:21  So they gathered it every morning, every man according to his need. And when the sun became hot, it melted.  22  And so it was, on the sixth day, that they gathered twice as much bread, two omers for each one. And all the rulers of the congregation came and told Moses.  23  Then he said to them, “This is what Yahweh has said: ‘Tomorrow is a Sabbath rest, a holy Sabbath to Yahweh. Bake what you will bake today, and boil what you will boil; and lay up for yourselves all that remains, to be kept until morning.'” 24  So they laid it up till morning, as Moses commanded; and it did not stink, nor were there any worms in it.  25  Then Moses said, “Eat that today, for today is a Sabbath to Yahweh; today you will not find it in the field.  26  Six days you shall gather it, but on the seventh day, which is the Sabbath, there will be none.” 27  Now it happened that some of the people went out on the seventh day to gather, but they found none.  28  And Yahweh said to Moses, “How long do you refuse to keep My commandments and My laws?  29  “See! For Yahweh has given you the Sabbath;therefore He gives you on the sixth day bread for two days. Let every man remain in his place; let no man go out of his place on the seventh day.” 30  So the people rested on the seventh day. It took our fathers a while to finally get the message.  No work on the weekly Sabbath! That includes no work to prepare food.  Verse 23 gives the instructions for the day of preparation.  If we want to eat cooked food on Sabbath then we must do any cooking or baking of that food on the sixth day.

Further collaboration is found in Exodus 35:

Exodus 35:2  “Work shall be done for six days, but the seventh day shall be a holy day for you, a Sabbath of rest to Yahweh. Whoever does any work on it shall be put to
death.  3  You shall kindle no fire throughout your dwellings on the Sabbath day.”

Some have said that this command pertained only to building the tabernacle because that subject is discussed immediately afterwards in Exodus 35. While the prohibition against building a fire on Sabbath would certainly have applied to the construction work too, it seems that the commandment is general. The construction tasks which would have required fire are mentioned only as part of the long list of tasks and no allusion to the use of fire on Sabbath is made while discussing the construction work.

The command being in the same chapter is no indication because the chapter and verse divisions were a MUCH later addition, long after the time of the Messiah.

One of the Israelites got into trouble after he knew that there was to be no cooking on Sabbath.  He was doing some work in preparation to building a fire:

Numbers 15:32  Now while the children of Israel were in the wilderness, they found a man gathering sticks on the Sabbath day.  33  And those who found him gathering
sticks brought him to Moses and Aaron, and to all the congregation.  34  They put him under guard, because it had not been explained what should be done to him.  35  Then Yahweh said to Moses, “The man must surely be put to death; all the congregation shall stone him with stones outside the camp.”

The death penalty is still in effect for disobeying the commands of Yehovah.  We are still required to observe these commandments, statutes and judgments.  Of course, if
we do disobey, we can come before Yehovah in repentance and ask that Yahushua’s sacrifice be applied to cover that sin.  In that case Yehovah will not execute us for the
sin. But is that what we want to do?  Do we want to apply Yahushua’s sufferings just so we can have a fresh-cooked meal on Sabbath?  Certainly not!  Also, if we truly repent
then how could we cook again on the next Sabbath?

This is a small commandment which is easy to obey and we have no need to violate it. It is really a matter of whether we decide in our heart to obey Yehovah or not.
The man gathering sticks was executed because he defied Yehovah.

Will we be so bold?  I pray not.

Br Tom

Preparing for the Sabbatical Year and comparing this to the weekly Sabbath

In Exodus Yehovah does something that is remarkable when you think about it deeply. He compares the weekly 7th Day Sabbath to the 7th Year Sabbatical year.

Exo 23:10  And you shall sow your land six years, and shall gather in the fruits of it. 11  But the seventh year you shall let it rest and let it alone, so that the poor of your people may eat. And what they leave, the animals of the field shall eat. In the same way you shall deal with your vineyard and with your oliveyard. 12  You shall do your work six days, and on the seventh day you shall rest, so that your ox and your ass may rest, and the son of your handmaid, and the stranger, may be refreshed.

Why did Yehovah do this?

For one reason, to show us that the weekly 7th day Sabbath cycle is the same as the septennial 7th Year cycle. Each one comes every 7th day or every 7th year no matter what. If there are Holy Days, as there are 7 times each year, the weekly seventh day Sabbath never changes. There are no eight days one week and seven the next. It is always a 7 day per week cycle and the Holy Days can come on any day and this does not change when the 7th Day Sabbath is.

It is the exact same thing for the Sabbatical years. They are always on the 7th year. Even when we have the 50th year Jubilee the 7 year cycle does not change. There is no such thing as an 8 year because of the Jubilee. The 49th year, which is the 7th Sabbatical year, is followed 7 years later by the next Sabbatical year.

But what else is Yehovah showing you in Exodus 23 when He compares the weekly Sabbath to the Sabbatical years?

He is telling you also that you must prepare for the Sabbatical year in the 6th year the same as you do the weekly Sabbath.

Lev 25:20  And if you shall say, What shall we eat the seventh year? Behold, we shall not sow nor gather in our increase! 21  Then I will command My blessing on you in the sixth year, and it shall bring forth fruit for three years. 22  And you shall sow the eighth year, and eat of old fruit until the ninth year; until its fruits come in, you shall eat the old fruit.

We are commanded to prepare our food in the 6th year the same way we prepare our food on the 6th day before the weekly Sabbath.

Here is something else to consider. We are also commanded to take care of the widow and the orphan and the stranger and the Levite in the 6th year. If we are to compare these two with the other then how do we apply this to the weekly Sabbath preparation?

I was in Israel one year and the Sabbath was just a few hours away and people were coming out of the Souk which is a market for food and meats. One lady was stopped at a light to cross the street and she looked in the bag of the obvious poor person standing in front of her. She then told that person to wait there and she left and went back into the Souk and bought some other supplies to give to this poor person so that they could enjoy the Sabbath with even more food.

I thought it was one of the greatest things I could have seen. This lady took it upon herself to make sure this other poor person had what was needed to celebrate Shabbat.

Now I see this being applied in the Philippines, where just two weeks ago I showed them the Sabbatical years and when they are to be kept. As I prepare this News letter now, just two weeks later, pictures are coming in of brethren helping each other plant Dragon Fruits which will be used by the whole community during the Sabbatical year. Dragon fruits from the north were brought down to Manila and people arrived to help plant them and set them on the concrete posts they need to grow on.

Do you take care of the widow and the orphan before the weekly Sabbath? Are you preparing for the Sabbatical year by stocking up on food the year before? You have just 5 months to get ready. We just began the 8th month. Are you getting ready? Are you preparing for the Sabbatical year the same way you prepare for the weekly Sabbath?

How are you preparing for the Sabbatical Millennium?

We have now compared the weekly 7th Day Sabbath to the 7th Year Sabbatical year. Now let us compare these two with the 7th Millennium of rest which is also a Sabbath.

Many Christians want to be in this rest but they will not obey the rules of the Kingdom of Yehovah and keep the weekly Sabbath or the Holy Days, and many others just will not keep the Sabbatical year of rest. They all want to be in the Millennial rest, but Yehovah says to them “I never knew you, you workers of lawlessness”. They are those who will not keep His laws.

But to those of you who will keep the Sabbath and Holy Days and the Sabbatical years, let us learn more when we compare the Sabbath and Shmitah to the Millennial rest and how we are to prepare for it.

We are told that King David is going to rule over this 7th Millennium.

Psa 17:15  As for me, I will behold Your face in righteousness; when I awake, I shall be satisfied with Your image.

Hos 3:4  For the sons of Israel shall live many days with no king, and no ruler, and with no sacrifice, and no pillars, and no ephod, or teraphim. 5  Afterward the sons of Israel shall return and seek Jehovah their God and David their king. And they shall fear Jehovah and His goodness in the ends of the days.

Many people talk about the valley of dry bones or they talk about the two sticks being joined together, but do you actually read what is spoken of here? Read it now and understand.

Eze 37:1  The hand of Jehovah was on me, and brought me by the Spirit of Jehovah, and made me rest in the midst of a valley, and it was full of bones. 2  And He made me pass among them all around. And behold, very many were on the face of the valley. And lo, they were very dry. 3  And he said to me, Son of man, can these bones live? And I answered, O Lord Jehovah, You know. 4  Again He said to me, Prophesy to these bones, and say to them, O dry bones, hear the Word of Jehovah. 5  So says the Lord Jehovah to these bones: Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and you shall live. 6  And I will lay sinews on you, and will bring up flesh on you, and cover you with skin, and put breath in you, and you shall live. And you shall know that I am Jehovah. 7  So I prophesied as I was commanded. And as I prophesied, there was a noise. And behold, a shaking! And the bones came near, a bone to its bone. 8  And I watched. And behold! The sinews and the flesh came up on them, and the skin covered them above. But there was no breath in them. 9  And He said to me, Prophesy to the Spirit, prophesy, son of man, and say to the Spirit, So says the Lord Jehovah: Come from the four winds, O Spirit, and breathe on these dead ones so that they may live. 10  So I prophesied as He commanded me, and the Spirit came into them, and they lived and stood on their feet, an exceedingly great army. 11  And He said to me, Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel. Behold, they say, Our bones are dried and our hope is lost; we are cut off by ourselves. 12  Therefore prophesy and say to them, So says the Lord Jehovah: Behold, O My people, I will open your graves and cause you to come up out of your graves, and will bring you into the land of Israel. 13  And you shall know that I am Jehovah when I have opened your graves, O My people, and have brought you up out of your graves. 14  And I shall put My Spirit in you, and you shall live, and I will place you in your own land. And you shall know that I Jehovah have spoken and have done it, says Jehovah. 15  And the Word of Jehovah came to me, saying, 16  And you, son of man, take a stick and write on it, For Judah and for his companions, the sons of Israel. And take another stick and write on it, For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim, and all the house of Israel, his companions. 17  And join them to one another into one stick. And they shall become one in your hand. 18  And when the sons of your people shall speak to you, saying, Will you not declare to us what these mean to you? 19  Say to them, So says the Lord Jehovah: Behold, I will take the stick of Joseph, which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel, his companions, and I will put them with him, with the stick of Judah, and will make them one stick, and they shall be one in My hand. 20  And the sticks on which you write shall be in your hand before their eyes. 21  And say to them, So says the Lord Jehovah: Behold, I will take the sons of Israel from among the nations where they have gone, and will gather them on every side, and will bring them into their own land. 22  And I will make them one nation in the land on the mountains of Israel, and one King shall be king to them all. And they shall not still be two nations, nor shall they be divided into two kingdoms any more at all. 23  Nor shall they be defiled with their idols, even with their filthy idols, nor with all of their transgressions. But I will save them out of all their dwelling places, in them where they sinned, and will cleanse them. And they shall be to Me for a people, and I will be to them for God.

24  And David My servant shall be King over them. And there shall be one Shepherd to all of them. And they shall walk in My judgments, and obey My Laws, and do them.

25  And they shall dwell in the land that I have given to Jacob My servant, the land in which your fathers have lived. And they shall dwell in it, even they and their sons, and the sons of their sons for ever. And My servant David shall be their ruler forever. 26  And I will cut a covenant of peace with them. It shall be an everlasting covenant with them. And I will place them, and multiply them, and will set My sanctuary in their midst forever. 27  And My tabernacle shall be with them. Yea, I will be their God, and they shall be My people. 28  And the nations shall know that I Jehovah sanctify Israel, when My sanctuary shall be in their midst forever.

Yehovah’s spirit was given on Shavuot, the same day the ten commandments were given at Mount Sinai. This is the same day we the wheat are to be changed into spirit beings at the end of the great tribulation. Is this not also when David will be raised up and when the whole house of Israel will also be raised up once again? See our video teachings on the 8th day.

Amo 9:11  In that day I will raise up the booth of David that has fallen, and close up its breaks; and I will raise up its ruins, and I will build it as in the days of old; 12  so that they may possess the remnant of Edom, and of all the nations on whom My name is called, says Jehovah who is doing this.

Jer 30:3  For, lo, the days come, says Jehovah, that I will bring again the captivity of My people Israel and Judah, says Jehovah. And I will cause them to return to the land that I gave their fathers, and they shall possess it.

Jer 30:7  Alas! For that day is great, so that none is like it; it is even the time of Jacob’s trouble; but he shall be saved out of it. 8  For it shall be in that day, says Jehovah of Hosts, I will break his yoke from your neck and will burst your bonds. And strangers shall no longer enslave him, 9  but they shall serve Jehovah their God, and David their king, whom I will raise up to them.

The 7th Millennium begins in 2045, and King David is going to rule over the whole house of Israel that will also be raised up at this same time.

But we are talking about preparing for the 7th Millennium. How is this being done right now?

We are told a number of things in Joel which today everyone is focused on the Blood Moons but they have missed something. At the end of the 6th Millennium Yehovah will pour out His spirit on all Flesh.

Joe 2:28  And it shall be afterward, I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh. And your sons and your daughters shall prophesy; your old men shall dream dreams; your young men shall see visions. 29  And also I will pour out My Spirit on the slaves and on the slave women in those days. 30  And I will show wonders in the heavens, and in the earth, blood and fire and pillars of smoke. 31  The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the coming of the great and awesome day of Jehovah. 32  And it shall be, whoever shall call on the name of Jehovah shall be saved; for salvation shall be in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem, as Jehovah has said, and in the remnant whom Jehovah shall call.

We read of this Spirit once again being poured out as tongues of fire on the feast day of Shavuot. But this is not the end of the 6th millennium which we are now in.

Act 2:1  And in the fulfilling of the day of Pentecost, they were all with one accord in one place. 2  And suddenly a sound came out of the heaven as borne along by the rushing of a mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. 3  And tongues as of fire appeared to them, being distributed; and it sat upon each of them. 4  And they were all filled of the Holy Spirit, and began to speak in other languages, as the Spirit gave them utterance. 5  And dwelling at Jerusalem there were Jews, devout men out of every nation under heaven. 6  But this sound occurring, the multitude came together and were confounded, because they each heard them speaking in his own dialect. 7  And they were all amazed and marveled, saying to one another, Behold, are not these who speak all Galileans? 8  And how do we each hear in our own dialect in which we were born? 9  Parthians, and Medes, and Elamites, and the dwellers in Mesopotamia, and in Judea, and Cappadocia, in Pontus, and Asia, 10  Phrygia, and Pamphylia, in Egypt, and in the parts of Libya around Cyrene, and strangers of Rome, Jews and proselytes, 11  Cretans and Arabians, we hear them speaking the great things of God in our own languages. 12  And they were all amazed, and were in doubt, saying to one another, What does this mean? 13  But others mocking said, These men are full of sweet wine. 14  But Peter, standing up with the Eleven, lifted up his voice and said to them, Men, Jews, and all who dwell at Jerusalem, let this be known to you, and listen to my words. 15  For these are not drunk as you suppose, for it is the third hour of the day. 16  But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel: 17  “And it shall be in the last days, says God, I will pour out of My Spirit upon all flesh. And your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams. 18  And in those days I will pour out My Spirit upon My slaves and My slave women, and they shall prophesy. 19  And I will give wonders in the heaven above, and miracles on the earth below, blood and fire and vapor of smoke. 20  The sun shall be turned into darkness and the moon into blood, before that great and glorious Day of the Lord. 21  And it shall be that everyone who shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

Many will be called out from Israel, many will hear that call but they will not answer it.

Mat 22:14  For many are called, but few chosen.

We read before this statement that Yehovah has invited many to come to the wedding but they will not come. We also read how He then invites the rest of mankind to the wedding and I can attest to the fact that today we see many from other nations wanting to obey the Torah, the Sabbath, the Holy Days and the Sabbatical years and working to keep these times Holy. But sadly many who could have come just get caught up in life and will not come and obey.

Mat 22:7  But when the king heard, he was angry. And he sent out his armies and destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city. 8  Then he said to his servants, The wedding is ready, but they who were invited were not worthy. 9  Therefore go into the exits of the highways, and as many as you shall find, invite them to the marriage. 10  So the servants went out into the highways and gathered together as many as they found, both bad and good. And the wedding was filled with reclining guests.

Matt 13:3  And He spoke many things to them in parables, saying, Behold, the sower went out to sow. 4  And as he sowed, some seeds fell by the wayside, and the birds came and devoured them. 5  Some fell on stony places, where they did not have much earth. And they sprang up immediately, because they had no deepness of earth. 6  And the sun rising, they were scorched, and because they had no root, they withered away. 7  And some fell among thorns. And the thorns sprung up and choked them. 8  And some fell on the good ground and yielded fruit, indeed one a hundredfold, and one sixty, and one thirty. 9  He who has ears to hear, let him hear. 10  And the disciples said to Him, Why do You speak to them in parables? 11  He answered and said to them, Because it is given to you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of Heaven, but it is not given to them. 12  For whoever has, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance. But whoever does not have, from him shall be taken away even that which he has. 13  Therefore I speak to them in parables, because seeing they see not, and hearing they hear not; nor do they understand. 14  And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah which said, “By hearing you shall hear and shall not understand; and seeing you shall see and shall not perceive; 15  for this people’s heart has become gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and they have closed their eyes, lest at any time they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.” 16  But blessed are your eyes, for they see; and your ears, for they hear. 17  For truly I say to you that many prophets and righteous men have desired to see those things which you see, and have not seen them; and to hear what you hear, and have not heard them. 18  Therefore hear the parable of the sower. 19  When anyone hears the Word of the kingdom and does not understand it, then the wicked one comes and catches away that which was sown in his heart. This is the seed sown by the wayside. 20  But that which was sown on the stony places is this: he who hears the Word and immediately receives it with joy. 21  But he has no root in himself, and is temporary. For when tribulation or persecution arises on account of the Word, he immediately stumbles. 22  And that sown into the thorns is this: he who hears the Word; and the anxiety of this world, and the deceit of riches, choke the Word, and he becomes unfruitful. 23  But that sown on the good ground is this: he who hears the Word and understands; who also bears fruit and produces one truly a hundredfold; and one sixty; and one thirty. 24  He put out another parable to them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is compared to a man who sowed good seed in his field. 25  But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed darnel among the wheat and went his way. 26  But when the blade had sprung up and had produced fruit, then the darnel also appeared. 27  So the servants of the householder came and said to him, Sir, did you not sow good seed in your field? Then where have the darnel come from? 28  He said to them, An enemy has done this. The servants said to him, Then do you want us to go and gather them up? 29  But he said, No, lest while you gather up the darnel you also root up the wheat with them. 30  Let both grow together until the harvest. And in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, First gather together the darnel and bind them in bundles to burn them, but gather the wheat into my granary.

We have shown you repeatedly that we are at that end of this 6th millennial day. We have shown you that we are at the end of the 120th Jubilee cycle. At the same time we have also shown you that this 120th Jubilee cycle is the 70th week of Daniel 9.

If in fact this is the end of the sixth Millennial day then what has Yehovah done in this 6th cycle in preparation for the 7th Sabbatical Millennium?

Knowing that the 7th Millennium begins in 2045, this tells us that the beginning of the 6th Millennium was in the year 1065 C.E.

We learn from history that in 1066 was the Battle of Hastings and successful invasion of England of the Norman conquest.

This invasion then led to the formation of the Magna Carta in 1215 which was finally ratified into law in England’s statute of laws in 1297 by Edward I. 2015 is the 800th anniversary of the Magna Carta, which you can read more of at this link.

This same Magna Carta led to creation of the American constitution in 1787.

800th Anniversary of the Magna Carta; What Did It Have To Do With Religious Freedom?

Today is widely celebrated as the 800th anniversary of King John’s placing his seal on the Magna Carta at the demand of rebellious barons. However it is actually a revised version agreed to 4 days later that laid the foundation for the rule of law and due process for all freemen.  That is the text that has survived. As recounted by the National Archives in an article titled Magna Carta and Its American Legacy:

Of great significance to future generations was a minor wording change, the replacement of the term “any baron” with “any freeman” in stipulating to whom the provisions applied. Over time, it would help justify the application of the Charter’s provisions to a greater part of the population….

What is largely forgotten, however, is that the very first of the protections set out in the Magna Carta was for the English Church (which at this pre-Reformation time still acknowledged the authority of the Pope):

Know that we, at the prompting of God and for the health of our soul and the souls of our ancestors and successors, for the glory of holy Church and the improvement of our realm, freely and out of our good will have given and granted to the archbishops, bishops, abbots, priors, earls, barons and all of our realm these liberties written below to hold in our realm of England in perpetuity.

In the first place we grant to God and confirm by this our present charter for ourselves and our heirs in perpetuity that the English Church is to be free and to have all its rights fully and its liberties entirely.

This Religious freedom would then lead us to the first printing of the Bible in 1454.

We have then a struggle ensuing between the Catholic church and those who kept the weekly 7th day Sabbath. You can read the entire history of those who kept the Sabbath around the world, but I suggest you check the ones from the 11th century onward as this is the subject of this News Letter.

It would be these Sabbath keepers that would then lead to the Seventh Day Adventists and then to the Sacred name groups and World Wide Churches of God, of which the two largest groups were in the USA and the Philippines. This led to the Messianic movement and that brings us up to today with you reading this News Letter, teaching you about the 7th day Sabbath, the Holy Days of Lev 23 and the Sabbatical years. No one has kept or taught you how to keep the Sabbatical years until this Ministry began to do so in 2005. It is only by the revelation of Yehovah that any of us are able to do so.

He is indeed pouring out His Spirit on all flesh in order for any of us to understand these magnificent truths.

Yehovah is preparing for the 7th Millennium by raising up people who will be keeping the Sabbath, Holy Days and Sabbatical years. They will be ready to obey by the time King David is raised from the grave near the end of this 6th Millennial day.

This is the awesome potential each of us who obeys has. That is to reign with King David in Yehovah’s Kingdom here on earth. Yehovah is not stocking up on food, as we are commanded for the 7th year of rest, Yehovah is not cooking meals ahead of time as we are told to do for the weekly Sabbath. Yehovah at this time is pouring out His spirit so we can understand and obey His truths in order to be in His kingdom.

What are we to gain from this?

In preparing for the weekly Sabbath and the Sabbatical year we are to keep in mind the spiritual aspect of learning the Torah. It is Yehovah’s spirit, the laws given at Mount Sinai that make up who He is. And if we are to be like Him and want to walk and talk with Him then we need to have those laws incorporated into our spirit beings.

The weekly Sabbath as well as the Sabbatical years and the 7th millennium are likened to a house with leprosy. Israel is the house or is the House of Israel.

Lev 14:34  When you come into the land of Canaan which I give you for a possession, and I put the plague of leprosy in a house in the land of your possession, 35  and if he that owns the house shall come and tell the priest, saying, A plague is seen by me in the house; 36  then the priest shall command that they empty the house before the priest goes to see the plague, so that all that is in the house may not become unclean. And afterwards the priest shall go in to see the house. 37  And he shall look on the plague. And behold, if the plague is in the walls of the house with hollow streaks, greenish or reddish, which in sight are lower than the wall, 38  then the priest shall go out of the house to the door of the house, and shut up the house seven days. 39  And the priest shall come again the seventh day and shall look. And behold, if the plague has spread in the walls of the house, 40  then the priest shall command that they take away the stones in which the plague is, and they shall throw them into an unclean place outside the city.

We are about to be examined in this 7th Millennium to see if the plague of rebellion continues in the House of Israel or not. What is the priest going to find?

Lev 14:41  And he shall cause the house to be scraped inside all around, and they shall pour out the dust that they scrape off outside the city in an unclean place.

Lev 14:42  And they shall take other stones and put them in the place of those stones. And he shall take other mortar and shall plaster the house.

Lev 14:43  And if the plague comes again and breaks out in the house after he has taken away the stones and after he has scraped the house, and after it is plastered,

Lev 14:44  then the priest shall come and look. And behold, if the plague has spread in the house, it is a fretting leprosy in the house. It is unclean.

Lev 14:45  And he shall break down the house, the stones of it, and the timber of it, and all the mortar of the house, and he shall carry them out of the city into an unclean place.

Lev 14:46  And he that goes into the house all the days that it is shut up shall be unclean until the evening.

Lev 14:47  And he that lies in the house shall wash his clothes. And he that eats in the house shall wash his clothes.

Lev 14:48  And if the priest shall come in and look, and, behold, the plague has not spread in the house after the house was plastered, then the priest shall pronounce the house clean because the plague is healed.

Lev 14:49  And he shall take two birds to cleanse the house, and cedar-wood, and scarlet dye, and hyssop.

Lev 14:50  And he shall kill one of the birds in an earthen vessel over running water.

Lev 14:51  And he shall take the cedar wood, and the hyssop, and the scarlet dye, and the living bird, and dip them in the blood of the slain bird and in the running water, and sprinkle the house seven times.

Lev 14:52  And he shall cleanse the house with the blood of the bird, and with the running water, and with the living bird, and with the cedar wood, and with the hyssop, and with the scarlet.

Lev 14:53  But he shall let the living bird go out of the city into the open field, and make an atonement for the house. And it shall be clean.

Lev 14:54  This is the law for all kinds of plague of leprosy and scab,

Lev 14:55  and for the leprosy of a garment and of a house,

Lev 14:56  and for a rising and for a scab and for a bright spot,

Lev 14:57  to teach when it is unclean and when it is clean. This is the law of leprosy.
