Confirming the Land Rest with History

These years fit with all known Land Rest Years as recorded in history. The verse quoted in II Kings 19:29 was a message from Yahweh. But this paper is not just to show you when the Jubilee and Land Rest Years are.

It also further exemplifies what Paul wrote in the Colossians Epistle:

16 So let no one judge you in food or in drink, or regarding a festival or a new moon or Sabbaths, 17 which are a shadow of things to come, but the substance is of Christ. (Colossians 2:16-17)

The Sabbath Day, each of the Holy Days, the Land Rest Years and the Jubilee Year are all shadow pictures of good things to come. But unless we are obedient and keep this time Holy, we will miss the events that occur during these days and years, just as the Jews missed the Messiah and the events which happened during Passover, in ancient times. I will write more on this later.
Qadesh La Yahweh Press (http://www.yahweh.org/yahweh2.html) provides us with over 400 pages of detailed investigation to show that each of the following dates are correct if you use the Abib to Abib reckoning of the Land Rest Year Cycles. The actual dates of known Land Rest Years and Jubilee Years are as follows:

• A Land Rest Year occurred in 701 BC and a Jubilee in 700 BC as written in the Bible in II Kings 19:29, Isaiah 37, and II Chronicles 32
• A Sabbath year occurred in 456 BC as written in Nehemiah 8:18
• A Sabbath year occurred in 162 BC as recorded in I Maccabees 16:14 and Josephus–Antiquities of the Jews
• A Sabbath year occurred in 134 BC as recorded in I Maccabees and Josephus –Antiquities of the Jews
• A Sabbath year occurred in 43 BC as decreed by Gaius Julius Caesar and Josephus–Antiquities of the Jews
• A Sabbath year occurred in 36 BC as recorded in Josephus–Antiquities of the Jews 14:16:2
• A Sabbath year occurred in 22 BC as recorded in Josephus–Antiquities of the Jews 15:9:1
• A Sabbath year occurred in 42 CE as recorded in Josephus–Antiquities of the Jews 18:8:1-2
• A Sabbath year occurred in 56 CE as referenced in the Wadi Murabba
• A Sabbath year occurred in 70 CE as recorded in Josephus–the Wars of the Jews 4:9:2
• A Sabbath year occurred in 133 CE as referenced in the Wadi Murabba
• A Sabbath year occurred in 140 CE as referenced in the Wadi Murabba

Once we know this to be true, and it has been proven beyond all reasonable doubt by reputable sources like Qadesh La Yahweh Press and sources like it, then it becomes a very simple matter of counting by seven in any direction. When we use any of the years as shown above, we can easily see how they all match up.
We now have a system which matches historical information that can be used to go back in time or come forward to our own date.
